Hi there!
I’m so glad you stumbled across my little corner of ceramics and decided to stay for a while. I remember doing ceramics back in high school and loving it, but it wasn’t until years later, in the depths of motherhood that it started to mean something more to me. I found myself searching for something that brought me joy and peace—something that was just mine, outside of my faith and my role as a Mama.
Then one day, I came across someone’s ceramics page on Instagram and remember thinking, “I’d love to try and make that.” So I did. A super supportive husband, many trials and errors, countless trips to my local clay store, and about a million questions later... here we are. What started as a creative outlet has grown into something I truly love. I’ve spent my time hand-building special pieces, hosting classes and events, and discovering just how much joy I find in slowing down and creating something with my own two hands.
Yes, I’ve tried the pottery wheel—many times. We just haven’t become friends quite yet. Hand-building is definitely my thing.
There’s something I love about the imperfect nature of it. Every piece is shaped by hand, which means no two will ever be exactly alike. The little differences in shape, color, texture, and finish are part of what makes each one special. And now, I’d love to share a little bit of this journey with you. Whether you take home one of my handmade pieces, join me for a ceramics night in my little studio, or come create with me at a local event, I hope you find a little bit of the same joy in it that I have.
If one of my pieces finds its way into your home, please tag me when you’re using it. Seeing something I made become part of someone else’s everyday life is one of my favorite parts of all of this.
Thanks for being here.
Much love, Yuliya.
